I love this story about a mysterious "angel" priest who appears out of nowhere at a deadly car accident (other driver was charged with DWI) scene near Center, Missouri, and prays with a young lady who is trapped in a car. She had been praying to God for help and all the sudden he appears on the highway, despite it being backed up for miles and no parked cars nearby. He also prays with the first responders and tells them that despite their struggles to get their equipment to work, that they will be successful and sure enough, right after he said that, more help arrived and they were successful. The priest then disappeared and no one knows how he got there, who he was, or where he went.
Because I am a criminal defense attorney, I often get asked about the Zimmerman Trial and whether NOT GUILTY was the proper result. The answer to that is very tricky.Clearly there are some strong feelings on both sides of the case and at the end of the day, the result was proper because that is how our County is set up to resolve disputes such as these. By having a jury, and a burden of proof that falls upon the prosecutor, the U.S. Constitution demands that the proper result occur.
